Please be active as it shows the Owners of this site respect
You must have a proper name for your character. Upon creating your account here, you must give yourself a proper name. First and last is preferred but you need to have a first name and Last name(ex: Katie Matthews, Harry Potter, etc). We will not accept usernames such as HarryPotterlover, dracosbabe, DumbledoreFan4698, etc. You are required to change your username after registration so that you can be sorted. Failure to not follow this rule will result in you not getting sorted. This rule also applies to job positions (ex: Professor or Head Of House).It must be a proper name, like John Thomas or Mary Elizabeth.
Upon creating your account here and giving yourself a proper name, you must go to the Sorting Hat. If you are going to be a Professor, please go to the Job Applications board and sign up.
All assignments are to be handed in on time unless you have either pmed Headmistress Ginny Weasley or the professor of that class or emailed Headmistress Ginny Weasley or the professor of that class. If any assignments for any class are handed in late or not handed in at all. That will result in deduction of house points around 5 points per lesson per class.
Every Hawthorn Academy Student is expected to take at least 4 classes.
In order to take part in extra curricular activities such as Quidditch, you must do every assignment given to you and your grades must be good.
The Wizarding Grades used here at Hawthorn Academy are
Pass Grades
Outstanding (O)
Exceeds Expectations (E)
Acceptable (A)

Fail Grades
Poor (P)
Dreadful (D)
Troll (T)
There will be no PMing members to advertise your site. If you would like to advertise there is a board at the bottom of the forum for you to post in. Anyone caught breaking this rule will suffer the consequence of your actions.

Consequences
1. Warning
2. Detention
3. Suspension
4. Expelled

Always PM all site Headmistress Ginny Weasley regarding situations. As stated in the Site Policies, you are required to PM a Headmistress Ginny Weasley regarding questions you have or situations you've seen, etc. But when in doubt, always PM Headmistress Ginny Weasley.

Can and Can Not Do

Students can have an owl, a cat, or a toad, but this rule doesn't seem to be strictly enforced

Students are to take the train to Hawthorn Academy - not a flying car or anything else other then the train.

Only fifth-year and older students are allowed to be out in the corridors until nine o'clock
